Jane's Carousel

Jane's Carousel is housed inside a transparent, jewel-box pavilion with retractable glass walls that sits right on the edge of the East River. Built in nineteen twenty-two by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, this antique machine features forty-eight hand-carved wooden horses and two ornate chariots. It originally operated at Idora Park in Youngstown, Ohio, until that park closed in nineteen eighty-four.
