St. Ann's Warehouse

St. Ann's Warehouse is easily identified by its rugged, two-story brick walls that appear to be a ruin, open to the sky, framing a contemporary glass and steel structure. This building, originally an eighteen-sixties tobacco warehouse, sits right on the waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park. It represents a long-term effort to preserve the industrial character of the Dumbo neighborhood while providing a modern venue for international theater and music.
