King of Greene Street

The building widely known as the King of Greene Street is the cast-iron structure at seventy-two and seventy-four Greene Street. It features an elaborate facade of Corinthian columns and ornate window arches that span the entire street frontage. Isaac Duckworth commissioned the building in eighteen seventy-two, choosing the architect Henry Engelbert to design the project.
