Lyceum Theatre

The Lyceum Theatre on West Forty-Fifth Street is distinguished by a gray limestone facade featuring six prominent Corinthian columns. Opened in nineteen oh three, this Beaux-Arts building holds the title of the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in New York City. Its design includes an undulating marquee and a series of arched windows that look out over the street, masking a structure that extends all the way through to the next block.
