You can identify Columbus Circle by the seventy-six-foot column standing at the center of the busy intersection where Broadway, Eighth Avenue, and Central Park West converge. Atop this granite pillar, a fourteen-foot marble statue of Christopher Columbus looks out toward the southwest corner of Central Park.
