Tanner Springs Park

Tanner Springs Park is defined by a sixty-meter-long wall of three hundred and sixty-eight vertical railroad tracks that ripple along the park's eastern edge. This undulating structure, which serves as a backdrop to a wetland pond, is interspersed with panels of fused cobalt-blue glass hand-painted with images of dragonflies, spiders, and amphibians. These tracks are remnants of the nineteenth-century rail yards that once occupied this city block.
