Pioneer Courthouse Square

Pioneer Courthouse Square is a full city block paved with thousands of reddish bricks, each inscribed with a name. This dense, brick-lined surface defines the space and distinguishes it from the surrounding city streets. Known as Portland's Living Room, the square sits at the heart of downtown, bordered by Southwest Morrison, Southwest Yamhill, Southwest Sixth, and Southwest Broadway.
