Portland City Hall occupies an entire city block in downtown Portland, recognizable by its sandstone exterior, a protruding rotunda, and two wings that stretch toward Fourth Avenue. Completed in eighteen ninety-five, the building features granite columns imported from Scotland and four-foot-tall decorative urns along its roofline.
