You are approaching a massive, twenty-foot-tall marble sculpture and fountain known as The Quest. It is carved from a single two-hundred-ton block of white Pentelic marble, quarried in Greece and shaped in Italy by the Austrian-born sculptor Count Alexander von Svoboda. The work depicts five nude figures—three women, one man, and a child—intertwined in flowing stone lines.
