Jamison Square

Jamison Square is easily identified by four thirty-foot-tall, colorful totem poles that flank its corners. These sculptures by artist Kenny Scharf serve a hidden purpose: they conceal the utility poles for the Portland Streetcar lines that run along the park’s edges. Opened in two thousand two, this one-acre pocket park was the first of three public spaces developed as part of the Pearl District’s urban renewal plan.
