Director Park

Simon and Helen Director Park is recognizable by a distinctive, translucent glass-and-wood canopy that shelters a portion of this downtown plaza. Opened in two thousand nine, the space occupies nearly half an acre where a surface parking lot once sat. It sits atop a seven-hundred-space underground parking garage, acting as a modern urban piazza designed to link the city’s historic South and North Park Blocks.
