S&D Polish Deli is defined by its white storefront decorated with Polish emblems, sitting along Penn Avenue in the Strip District. Opened in December two thousand eight by Slawomir and Dorota Pyszkowski, the shop began as a small outlet for goods imported from Poland. It has since grown into a grocery and deli counter that prepares traditional dishes like stuffed cabbage, borscht, and haluski.
