Niels Esperson Building

The Niels Esperson Building rises above the downtown Houston skyline, crowned by a distinctive tempietto—a circular, domed structure modeled after ancient Roman temples. Completed in nineteen twenty-seven, the thirty-two-story tower features intricate terracotta ornamentation, massive columns, and terraces. It remains one of the few examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in the city.
