Lila Cockrell Theatre

The Lila Cockrell Theatre is defined by a massive, one-hundred-thirty-foot-wide mosaic titled Confluence of Civilizations that spans the wall above its entrance. Part of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center complex, the building occupies the east bank of the San Antonio Riverwalk. It originally opened in nineteen sixty-eight as a centerpiece for the World's Fair, known as HemisFair, designed to highlight international culture.
