Magik Theatre

The Magik Theatre occupies a building defined by its cast iron columns and balcony railings, the only visible remnants of the original Beethoven Hall that survived a fire in nineteen thirteen. Originally constructed in eighteen ninety-five for the Beethoven Maennerchor, a German men's choir, the structure has undergone major changes, including the demolition of its front facade in nineteen twenty-eight to widen Alamo Street.
