The Crockett Hotel rises six stories high at the corner of Bonham and Crockett streets, identified by a distinctively rounded corner entrance that anchors the building to the street configuration. It sits directly on part of the original grounds of the Alamo. When it opened in nineteen oh nine, it functioned as an unusual hybrid of a commercial hotel and a private fraternal lodge.
