The Climate Pledge Arena is distinguished by its sweeping, hyperbolic paraboloid roof, an iconic structure originally designed by architect Paul Thiry for the nineteen sixty-two Seattle World's Fair. While the building functions today as a modern venue for professional sports and concerts, it retains the historic exterior curtain walls and the massive, sloping roof that were protected as a city landmark in twenty seventeen.
