The Kazi-Zade Rumi Mausoleum is distinguished by its two prominent turquoise domes resting on high drums. Located within the Shah-i-Zinde necropolis in Samarkand, this structure was built between fourteen twenty and fourteen twenty-five, during the time of the ruler and astronomer Ulugh Beg. It was intended to honor Kazi-Zade Rumi, a celebrated mathematician and teacher who maintained a long scientific partnership with Ulugh Beg.
