Justice and Police Museum

The Justice and Police Museum is defined by its sandstone facade, quarried from the same site as the Sydney Opera House at Bennelong Point. Located on the corner of Phillip and Albert Streets, the complex consists of two nineteenth-century courthouses and a former water police station. These buildings functioned as one of the city's busiest legal hubs for over a century, with the first section completed in eighteen fifty-six and the final extension added in eighteen eighty-six.
