The Rainbow Bistro is defined by the wooden beams and exposed stone and brick that line its two-story interior. Located on Murray Street, this venue has functioned as a central stage for Ottawa's live music scene since nineteen eighty-four. It was founded by realtor Danny Sivyer and a group of former bartenders who aimed to establish a dedicated blues club in the ByWard Market.
