Restaurant Café du Soleil

The Café du Soleil sits on the Place de la Trinité, easily spotted by the golden sun painted against a blue background on its facade. Known as the oldest bouchon in Lyon, its origins trace back to the eighteenth century. During its early years, the establishment became a backdrop for the original puppet shows of Guignol, created by the local performer Laurent Mourguet.
