Villa Knopf

The Villa Knopf is a striking structure of red brick and stone located at the corner of rue Schiller and quai Rouget de Lisle. You can identify it by the intricate, flowing ironwork of its entrance gate and the rounded bay windows that define its facade. Built between nineteen oh four and nineteen oh five, the house was commissioned by Moritz Knopf, a businessman who owned a major department store in the center of Strasbourg.
