The building at fifty-six Allée de la Robertsau is an Art Nouveau apartment house constructed between nineteen oh two and nineteen oh three. You can recognize it by the polychrome ceramic decorations adorning the upper floors, which contrast against the light-colored cut stone of the main façade. At the top of each end of the building, a curved gable features an openwork bullseye window, while the columns supporting the first-floor loggia are decorated with carvings of chestnut branches.
