The Coulée verte René-Dumont rises above the street as a long, narrow garden built on top of a defunct railway viaduct. Stretching four point seven kilometers through the twelfth arrondissement, this elevated park follows the path of the former Vincennes railway line, which carried trains from the Place de la Bastille until nineteen sixty-nine.
