La Comédie Italienne

You can pick out La Comédie Italienne by its blue baroque façade, which stands out from the neighboring buildings on the rue de la Gaîté. This small theater, which seats about one hundred people, is the only place in France dedicated exclusively to Italian drama. Its director, Attilio Maggiulli, founded the theater in nineteen eighty, continuing a tradition he began years earlier at a smaller venue on the rue du Maine.
