Monument Jean de Lattre de Tassigny

landmark

The Place du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny is a large circular junction at the edge of the Bois de Boulogne in the sixteenth arrondissement. You can identify the site by its layout, which serves as a significant gateway where several major boulevards and avenues, including Avenue Foch, converge. The square was officially named in nineteen sixty to honor Jean de Lattre de Tassigny, a prominent French general who was posthumously elevated to the rank of Marshal of France in nineteen fifty-two.
