The Musée d’Art Dentaire Pierre Fauchard is located within the Académie Nationale de Chirurgie Dentaire at twenty-two rue Émile-Ménier. This collection began in eighteen seventy-nine when a group of Parisian dentists organized to establish the first dental school in France. By eighteen ninety-two, the project had grown to house about three hundred tools and historical items to document the evolution of the profession.
