Porte Dauphine is defined by its ornate, emerald-green Art Nouveau entrance structure, a pavilion with sweeping, fan-like glass canopies and ironwork fashioned into organic, plant-like forms. It sits at the western edge of the city near the Bois de Boulogne, marking what was once the location of a gate in the nineteenth-century Thiers wall.
