Porte des Ternes de Paris

The Porte des Ternes is an oblong space located in the seventeenth arrondissement, stretching between the Boulevard Pershing and the Boulevard Gouvion-Saint-Cyr. While the name refers to a city gate, this is a historical designation rather than a physical barrier. The area marks a transit point on the edge of the city, sitting roughly three hundred meters from the Porte Maillot and the Porte de Villiers.
