Cœur rouge

Perched atop a tall mast at the Porte de Clignancourt, an immense red heart sculpture rises nearly ten meters into the sky. This work, known as the Cœur de Paris, is covered in three thousand eight hundred hand-painted tiles that catch the light as the sculpture rotates. It was designed by the artist Joana Vasconcelos to mark the northern gateway of the eighteenth arrondissement.
