L’Artère – le Jardin des Dessins is a sprawling, one thousand one square meter ceramic floor installation located within the Parc de la Villette. Its most striking feature is a vast, red ribbon-like shape snaking across the ground, inspired by the logo of the organization Sidaction. This site functions as an anti-monument, composed of thousands of individual ceramic tiles that display hand-drawn images related to the human body and the history of the struggle against HIV and AIDS.
