Place de Fontenoy

The Place de Fontenoy is a semicircular square in the seventh arrondissement of Paris, defined by the sweeping curve of its street layout and the distinct modernist structure at its heart. It takes its name from the Battle of Fontenoy, a conflict in seventeen forty-five where the French forces under Maréchal Maurice de Saxe secured a victory.
