Hôtel Biron

The Hôtel Biron is a pale, free-standing eighteenth-century mansion characterized by its large, light-filled bay windows and ornate rocaille architecture. It was built between seventeen twenty-seven and seventeen thirty-two for the financier Abraham Peyrenc de Moras. Unlike many Parisian townhouses of the era that were wedged between buildings, this structure stands independently, surrounded by three hectares of gardens.
