The neoclassical mansion at twenty-seven Place Saint-Georges is distinguished by a central body with a pointed pediment facing the circular square. Known as the Hôtel Dosne-Thiers, the structure was built in eighteen seventy-three by architect Alfred-Philibert Aldrophe. It stands on the site of a previous residence that belonged to the politician and historian Adolphe Thiers, which was destroyed by fire during the Paris Commune in eighteen seventy-one.
