The Passerelle Jane Birkin is a cast-iron footbridge that spans the Canal Saint-Martin in the tenth arrondissement. Built in eighteen sixty, it is the oldest bridge over this waterway. You can identify it by its arched design and its location at the end of the square Frédérick-Lemaître, connecting the quai de Valmy to the quai de Jemmapes near the former customs administration site.
