Café Terminus attack

On February twelfth, eighteen ninety-four, the Café Terminus became the site of a landmark event in the history of terrorism. Located near the Gare Saint-Lazare, the cafe was a bustling, affluent establishment where patrons gathered to drink and listen to a Romani orchestra. Shortly after nine in the evening, an anarchist named Émile Henry stood up from his table, walked toward the entrance, and threw a bomb into the middle of the crowded room.
