Église Notre-Dame-de-Grâce-de-Passy

The Église Notre-Dame-de-Grâce-de-Passy is identifiable by the bas-relief of the Annunciation carved into the stone tympanum above its main portal on Rue de l'Annonciation. This structure stands on the site of a smaller chapel commissioned in sixteen sixty-six by Claude Chahu, the lord of the local village of Passy. After he died, his widow, Christine de Heurles, secured the funding to transform the original chapel into a parish church in sixteen seventy-two.
