The Villa de Guelma is a quiet, eighty-six-meter-long dead-end street that opens off the boulevard de Clichy. Unlike the bustling nightlife of the surrounding Pigalle district, this narrow passage is marked by its preserved old buildings and secluded interior courtyards. Originally opened in eighteen thirty-eight under the name impasse de Constantine, it was later renamed for a city in Algeria.
