The Pont Saint-Pierre is defined by its slender steel deck, which stretches two hundred and forty meters across the Garonne River. This structure links the historic Place Saint-Pierre on the city center bank to the Saint-Cyprien district on the opposite side. It is a pedestrian-only crossing, frequently occupied by people moving between the busy student bars of the square and the quieter residential streets across the water.
