The Place de la Trinité is a small, triangular square defined by a central fountain featuring a cluster of bronze female figures standing atop a marble basin. This space occupies the intersection of what were the main Roman thoroughfares of Tolosa, acting as the heart of the ancient city. For centuries, the site was occupied by a convent belonging to the Trinitarian monks, until the city ordered its demolition in eighteen twenty to widen the crossroads and create a more open, hygienic public area.
