The residential building at Franz-Joseph-Straße nineteen is defined by its ornate facade, which features elaborate stucco peacocks and stylized floral motifs. Completed in nineteen oh three according to the designs of Hungarian architect Ferenc Nyilas, the structure is commonly known as the Peacock House. It serves as a representative example of the Jugendstil movement that flourished in Munich at the turn of the twentieth century, characterized by its rejection of traditional historicism in favor of organic lines and decorative freedom.
