The Meshkinfam Historical House, also known as the Forough-ol-Molk House, is a three-story mansion distinguished by its intricate walnut wood doors inlaid with shells from the Persian Gulf. Built in nineteen thirty-two during the reign of Reza Shah, it originally served as a private residence for Forough-ol-Molk, a police chief of Shiraz and member of the prominent Qavam family. The structure stands in the Sang-e Siah district, a neighborhood characterized by its historic, enclosed courtyard layouts designed to provide privacy and cooling relief.
