The Vakil Historical Bath is marked by an octagonal vestibule crowned with a stone dome, held up by eight carved columns that feature a distinct twisted shape. Built in the seventeen sixties by Karim Khan Zand, this bathhouse stood as a centerpiece of a royal district that also included a bazaar, a mosque, and a fortress. It was designed to function as a social hub where residents gathered for conversation and relaxation in addition to bathing.
