The Sayyed Alaeddin Hossein Mosque is defined by an interior surface entirely covered in intricate mosaics of mirror and colored glass. These shards reflect light across the walls, arches, and dome in shades of green, blue, yellow, and white. Located in the Aastaneh neighborhood of Shiraz, the site functions as a mausoleum for Sayyed Alaeddin Hossein, who was the son of the seventh Shia Imam, Musa al-Kazim.
