Sarayeh Moshir

landmark

Sarayeh Moshir is defined by its octagonal central courtyard, which sits open to the sky and centers around a stone fountain surrounded by orange trees. Often called the Golshan Bazaar, this complex functions as a historic hub for artisans within the larger fabric of Shiraz. Built during the Qajar era in eighteen sixty-six, the site was commissioned by Mirza Abolhassan Khan Moshirolmolk, who served as a government official for the Fars province.
