HaEgoz Street

HaEgoz Street is a narrow, winding pathway set within the heart of Nachlaot, a district built starting in the late nineteenth century to house families moving out from the crowded Old City of Jerusalem. The street is lined with traditional stone houses, many featuring the thick walls and arched doorways that defined the residential courtyard complexes built by various ethnic Jewish communities during the Ottoman period.
