The storefront of Uzi-Eli is identified by the prominent, smiling portrait of its late founder, Uzi-Eli Hezi, who appears in illustrations displayed at the site as a bearded man carrying fruit. Known locally as the Etrog Man, Hezi established this shop in the Mahane Yehuda market to share traditional, nature-based medicinal knowledge passed down through three generations of his Yemeni family.
