Concorde Two sits directly on the Brighton seafront, housed within a Grade Two-listed Victorian structure that originally opened as tea rooms in the nineteenth century. Over the decades, the building underwent several transformations, serving as a notorious bikers' cafe in the nineteen sixties and an amusement arcade during the nineteen seventies. It eventually established its reputation as a premier live music venue on New Year's Eve in nineteen ninety-nine, with an opening performance by DJ Fatboy Slim.
