Edward VII Memorial

A bronze, winged female figure stands atop a tall pedestal at the precise boundary where the seafronts of Brighton and Hove meet. Known widely as the Peace Statue, this monument features an angel holding an orb and an olive branch, balanced above a globe supported by dolphin-like forms. It rises twenty-seven feet from the ground and is surrounded by low bronze railings.
