The King’s Arms occupies the corner of Parks Road and Holywell Street, distinguished by the outdoor picnic tables lining the pavement at its front. Licensed in sixteen oh seven to Thomas Franklyn, the inn was named for King James the First and has operated on this site for over four centuries. It is owned by Wadham College, whose students inhabit the upper floors.
